Effective use of Strategies in any education is possible only through experimental learning. Experimental laming is learning not only the principles and process of strategy but also the use of it in appropriate teaching-learning situations. Therefore. an attempt is made in this unit, to help you to develop the skill in using the strategies like Woman-to-woman, Child-to-child; community contact and rural school system in the area of nutrition and health education.
Trusting that you remember the principles, process and the value of the strategies learnt in units 16 and 17, now in this unit, you will find some handy tips for trying out the strategies like Woman-to-woman, Child-to child, community contact, rural school system. Further. you will be exposed to actual operation of these Strategies. You will be given an opportunity to use these strategies in health and nutrition-learning situations. You will get a chance to prepare messages related to nutrition and health for the community, to be communicated through TV or Radio.
